Young Ballet Artists’ Christmas Recital

Every young dancer’s goal is success. This could mean mastering dance steps, performing a dance musically, or delivering a successful performance on a stage full of spectators. The VŠBM learning program is designed so that young dancers can experience all of these aspects.

The Young Ballet Artists’ Christmas Recital is an annual celebration of the Vilnius Contemporary Ballet School community. During the Christmas season, we overcome stage fright, learn stage etiquette, and celebrate our first appearances on stage or debut choreographies. As stage artist C. Stellato once said: “A performance is a life experience; through it, we become someone else.”

"A performance is a life experience; through it, we become someone else."

Photo sessions

It is an opportunity, with the guidance of teachers and photographers, to capture the ballerina’s growth, progress, and movement. After all, the photos from the session remain not only in memory but also in your albums. This is an annual school event in which all dancers who wish to be photographed can participate.

Mothers’ Day

Mothers’ Day – a school-organized initiative where girls participate in a class together with their mothers. They not only get acquainted with the art of ballet but also share joyful moments and strengthen their bond. This is an annual school event attended by the youngest dancers and their mothers.

Open Classes

Parents are invited to the ballet studios to attend open classes, where they can observe the dancer’s physical and emotional progress, the interaction between teacher and student during the lesson, and appreciate the work of the entire class. This is an annual school event attended by all students and their parents.

Performances

For every dancer, the stage is an inseparable part of life. Each performance brings excitement, focus, a lesson, and an unforgettable life experience.

Final Concert

Final Concert – an annual event at the end of the academic year that brings everyone together, filled with applause, smiles, and beautiful dances. Friends, parents, and loved ones gather to wholeheartedly support the dancers. It is a perfect opportunity for our dancers to showcase their skills and courage. Those completing the elementary or main choreographic programs receive their certificates and celebrate their journey on stage together with the entire community.

"The main stage becomes real, welcoming, and accessible to every dancer at the school."
